About Anne

Anne is a grandma that lives in the countryside of France. She is a very kind person and used to be a teacher. She reads a lot on her tablet and goes outside a lot.

How important is where you come from for you?

For me, where I come from is very important because it shapes who I am. It wasn't an easy life because you had to wake up at the same time everyday and you had to work to earn money.

Does where you come from affect how you think or act.

I detached myself a little from that. At that time, you just wanted to go to town. It was very fun, we did lots of activities. The parents really work in the land. I don't know a lot about where you come from.

Can you please tell me a bit more about that?

Life in the country was harder, you had to cultivate land and then sell them. You have no late mornings you had to get up early every day.

If I asked you to describe yourself where would you put where you come from?

I think this would be number one because It's where I come from and where I have lived all of my childhood.

“If you ask me where I would put where I come from on a list about me. It would be first.”

Where did your friends come from?

They weren't from where I came from, they mostly came from bigger cities. I only had a couple of friends from where I come from.

Were people ever mean to you because of where you come from?

No, because whenever I came up to people they liked me. Because I was a very kind person growing up and I was nice with people.

“People just liked me. I was a very nice person.”
