Top 7 most dangerous animals in the world

We all know some animals are dangerous. Well, do we know the most dangerous ones? some of these are to be expected, and some aren’t. Here is a list of the top 7 most dangerous animals in the world.

7. The Cape Buffalo

The Cape Buffalo has a rough population of 900,000. They are the second-largest species of buffalo in the world that live in the Sub-Sahara and Kruger national park in South Africa. When the cape buffalo is left alone, it’s no threat, but they can become absolute brute tanks when threatened. With anger, these animals can be called the black death, with Male Cape buffalo weighing 1 ton, being 2 meters tall, having massive horns that can grow to 5 feet long (1.5 meters). Also, running 35 miles per hour and living in massive herds. The cape buffalo can shred everything that comes in their way. They can quickly kill the most dangerous animals and humans. They average killing 200 people per year.

6. The Cone Snail

The Cone Snail, found in the tropics of Hawaii, Indonesia, and the Caribbean, is the 6th most dangerous animal globally. The Cone Snails' small body can instantly turn deadly when you touch the 4-6 inch long gastropods. Their harpoon-like “teeth” contain a venom known as conotoxin, which can cause you some serious injuries like muscle paralysis, vision impairment, and respiratory failure. Conotoxin will kill any person in 1-5 hours if you don’t get an antitoxin.

5. The Black Mamba

The Black Mamba. Often found in the savannas and rocky areas of southern and eastern Africa, it is the most dangerous snake in the world. Though not the most poisonous, it is the most dangerous. That is because of his speed, the 14 feet long snake is super fast. It can reach speeds of 12.5 miles per hour, which, for snakes, is very fast. It can strike very quickly and is very venomous. With one bite, it can kill ten people with how much venom it has. And you will die in 20 minutes if you don’t get antitoxin, and almost 100% of bites are deaths.

4. Saltwater Crocodile

America’s Crocodiles might be scary, but they are nothing compared to their cousin, the Saltwater Crocodile. Found in parts of India, Vietnam, and going to Northern Australia, this crocodile is brutal. It can grow up to 23 feet (7 meters) long, weigh more than a ton, and is known to kill hundreds of people each year. They are responsible for killing more than all types of sharks combined annually. Saltwater Crocodiles are especially dangerous because of their speed in salt and freshwater. But the most dangerous part about the Saltwater Crocodile is its bite force. It can strike quickly by delivering 3,700 pounds per square inch (psi) of pressure, which is the most in the world. And if that doesn't scare you, think about a human who can bite a well-done steak at a max of 200 psi. That’s only 5 percent of the Saltwater Crocodile.

3. Mosquitos

Being just 3 millimeters, the Mosquito is the third most dangerous animals in the world. You might think, “why it can't do any harm,” but it’s because of how many people it kills and the diseases it can carry. The Mosquito afflicts about 700 million people per year and kills about 725,000 people per year. That is because of the viruses it can have inside of it. Sometimes a mosquito can catch nasty diseases like malaria, dengue, Chikungara, encephalitis, yellow fever, West Nile fever, and Zika virus. Then, Mosquitos will spread it to other mosquitos, and then when a mosquito bites you, you will get that and maybe spread it or die.

2. The Hippopotamus

The Hippopotamus is the most dangerous land animal mammal. It lives in the east and west parts of Africa. It mostly kills about 500 people per year. It is a hazardous animal. The Hippopotamus weighs about 1-5 tons and has two front teeth being about 1.2 feet long and having the bottom teeth 1.5 feet long. You don't want to get snatched by this guy's mouth because about 2750 kilos of force can rip you to pieces. Also, don't try to outrun it because though it might be a bit fat and weigh a lot, it can swim at about 15kmph (8mph), which is three times faster than the fastest swimmer ever (David Holmes Edgar). The Hippopotamus can also run a super-fast pace of 48kmph (28mph), which is faster than the fastest man ever “Usain Bolt” who ran 44.72 kmph (27.78), so if it's aggressive, you're pretty much screwed.

1. The Box Jellyfish

Often found in the hot Indonesian waters, these transparent, almost invisible jellyfish are named the most dangerous animal in the world named by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. This jellyfish is the most dangerous because of its venom. This cube-like head jellyfish has 15 tentacles, growing up to 10 feet long, all lined up with thousands of stinging cells known as nematocysts. Nematocyst is a toxin that attacks the heart, nervous system, and skin cells. While antivenom does exist, it is barely used because of how fast the toxin starts working. When stung by it, you could drown from shock or die from heart failure. If you can reach the shore and get an antidote, you will experience severe pain for several weeks and deadly scars from the creature's tentacles.
