BEST SUMMER TRANSFERS

#1 Romelu Lukaku

Inter Milan → Chelsea Transfer Rating=5/5

Romelu Lukaku, This man is honestly phenomenal. In an interview with Mr. Haken, the A-Team Football Coach, he said, "The best transfer for me this summer has been Romelu Lukaku because I think he can make Chelsea very dangerous." I agree. As he has already participated in the squad before 2011-12, I genuinely believe he will settle in fast. He's been outstanding at Chelsea ever since the move from Inter Milan. Currently, Lukaku is one of the best strikers in the world. After coming in from Inter Milan in Italy for 100 million(Fee of 115M), he's been living the dream. He has scored four goals in the span of 8 games for Chelsea this season. If Chelsea manages to cross the ball Romelu, they will be deadly this season.

#2 Memphis Depay

Lyon→FC Barcelona Transfer Rating 4/5

Memphis Depay, the Dutch specialist, Depay has been crucial for Fc Barcelona ever since Lionel Messi left the club. He is a reliable football player for FC Barcelona since Barcelona is in the mud at the moment. If Memphis Depay can stay inform Barcelona is guaranteed a spot out the dirt. Memphis Depay signed a contract for Barcelona until 2023 and came from Lyon absolutely for free. So far in his career this year, For Barcelona he has Played 9 Matches, 4 Goals Scored and 2 Assists and for the Netherlands this season he has played 12 matches, Scored 11 Goals, and has had seven assists if he keeps on the right track Barca are in good hands.

#3 Cristiano Ronaldo

Juventus→Manchester United Transfer, Rating 5/5

"Cristiano Ronaldo" by Paolo Camera is licensed under CC BY 2.0

Cristiano Ronaldo, The Magician, is just speechless. I have no words for him except for “ Greatest Player in the world at the moment” He is just honestly perplexing this season at Man United. Cristiano signed a contract for about two years, So about 2023, with an option to extend, Juventus let Cristiano go to Man United for about 12.86 million pounds. Cristiano has been astonishing back at Old Trafford, and at the moment, he is settling in. Ronaldo will soon be in his 110% form and show the world that nobody can play football like him. At the current moment, Ronaldo has played nine games for Manchester and Scored six goals, which is astonishing if you ask anybody. He has played nine matches for Portugal, scored about 11 goals, and had one excellent assist. If he continues to play like this, he will succeed even more.

UNDERRATED TRANSFERS

#1 Mike Maignan

Lille→AC Milan Transfer Rating 3/5

Mike Maignan is an absolute beast when it comes to standing in between the posts. He has gone from coming out of the PSG youths team to becoming one of the most underrated goalkeepers in the world. Mike came in from Lille in France for about 18.4 Million Dollars which he has proved he is worth way more. After his challenging start to his career, such as “Being an unused substitute several times but never played,” he has shown he can become something astonishing, something that will show people how it is to be a perpetual keeper. So far in this season for Milan, he has played seven matches and five goals conceded with a whopping 23 shots on target. Now, that’s pretty stupefying. Maignan has a save percentage of 82.6%; that is honestly just astounding. If he can keep this up sooner or later, he will be one of the best goalkeepers in the world.

#2 Manuel Locatelli

Sassuolo Calcio → Juventus Transfer Rating 3/5

Manuel Locatelli, This Guy can be dangerous when he has the ball in between his feet. This guy can create chances even if five players are trying to take the ball off of him. Locatelli is unique, and I genuinely believe he has potential in Juventus. He can dribble, shoot, able to pass. I know he didn’t have such a great start off to the year in Juventus. Still, it would be best to appreciate that he is a midfielder, creating chances left, right, and center. Although he might not get assists or score goals, he makes counterattacks, passes, defensive plays, and motivates. He is what every team needs to be successful. So far in the season for Manuel, he has played 16 games scoring two goals and having two assists for Juventus, and for Italy, he has played nine games, scored three times, and has had one assist. I know these might not be the best statistics, but I can assure you it will be his time to shine this season.

#3 Denzel Dumfries

PSV→Inter Milan Transfer Rating 3/5

Denzel Dumfries is just generally outstanding. Although he plays as a right-back, he can play all over the pitch. He is quick on the ball, he is good at shooting, good at passing, is good in the air. He is just outstanding. Although he hasn’t had such a great start, I guarantee he will prove that he is worth being called a world-class right back. After starting Dumfrieses career at Sparta Rotterdam Football Club, He has improved massively since the departure from PSV(Eindhoven) and Rotterdam. So far in the season for Denzel, he hasn’t had the best statistics at Milan, but I guarantee you he will improve. He has played 16 games throughout two competitions, The Seria A(Italian League) and Champions League (European Competition), and has had two assists and 0 goals. I know it might not be imposing, but as him being a Right back(Football Position), it is decent. If he can manage to play more, he will become better and solid right back.

WORST SUMMER TRANSFERS

#1 Ben White

Brighton→Arsenal Transfer Rating 1/5

Ben White has not shown his worth at all this season. After coming in from the Brighton Football team in England, he has demonstrated that he was not worth the money. Arsenal bought Ben White for approximately 50 million pounds, which, as he has shown, is not worth that amount. might I tell you, but Ben White's statistics are not very impressive with only five clean sheets and six goals conceded, and a whopping 14% Succesful Tackle rate, and for me, that is terrible. He got people's hopes up, including mine but failed to succeed in my expectations. He, Himself, even knows he can do better and exceed people's expectations, but Ben can't do that if he knows he can't do it himself. If he does this, he will continue being one of the worst defenders in the world right now.

#2 Jadon Sancho

Dortmund to Manchester United Transfer Rating 2/5

I have to be completely honest, but Jadon Sancho has not lived up to the hype he has created. From people saying he is the best youngster to people saying he is a complete disaster in football, Jadon Sancho was a player everybody believed would become astonishing. Thinking he was one day going to be one of the best players in the world, if not up there, Jadon Sancho moved into Old Trafford (Man United) for about 73 million pounds. If you asked any football fan, they would say he was not worth that amount of money, and I would agree with them too. So far in the season for Jadon, he has played 13 matches, 0 goals, 0 assists now. That is just appalling to some people, including me. If he continues like this, he will continue to go down the wrong path, and it is sad to see such a good player with potential drift away.

#3 Jack Grealish

Aston Villa → Manchester City Transfer Rating 2/5

Jack Grealish, If a person asks me who disappoints me the most in football, it would be Jack Grealish. Mr. Haken agrees, “He is another Superstar in a team full of superstars.” If anybody had thought of the following upcoming superstar, it would be him, but it all changed since the move. Jack Grealish transferred from Aston Villa Fc to Manchester city for about 100 million pounds, Now don’t get me wrong, I genuinely believe that he is worth that amount of money. Still, the only problem is at the moment, He is not indicating that he is worth that much. At the moment, for Manchester City, he has played about 15 games, he has scored two goals and has assisted two. Now that is abysmal. There is no one to blame except for him. If he continues like this, it will honestly be appalling.

This concludes our journey on the summer transfer bus. I really hope you liked the ride and enjoyed the different stops. It was my pleasure to share my opinion on these Summer 2021 transfers. I will see you on the next bus; you may now unbuckle yourself.
